BJ's Home Accents was created in 1979 by Bill Fortson and John Clements. BJ's offers one stop shopping for a large selection of decorative accessories for the home, fine furniture, gifts, Christopher Radko ornaments and seasonal decorations.

Owners Bill Fortson and John Clements have received numerous awards for their business. In both 2002 and 2003, they accepted the ART's Award for the top Home Accent-Design Store in the Midwest / Southwest; was the cover page and feature story for Home Accents Today international trade magazine, and selected as the store to be featured in The Source magazine for the Dallas Market Center. In previous years the store has received Decorative Accessories Magazine's top national awards for both promotion and community service. Both men currently serve on the Retail Advisory Board for the tarde magazine Home Accents Today.
